Role 1: Presales Engineer
As a Presales Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in the sales process by helping clients understand how Zoho’s solutions can meet their business needs. Your responsibilities include:
Main Responsibilities
- Solution Demonstrations: Conduct detailed product demonstrations to showcase the value and features of Zoho’s software solutions.
- Technical Discovery: Collaborate with clients to understand their business needs, technical challenges, and data environments.
- Proof-of-Concept (POC): Lead POCs to demonstrate the feasibility and effectiveness of the solution in real-world environments.
- RFP/RFI Responses: Provide technical responses to Requests for Proposals (RFPs) and Requests for Information (RFIs), addressing specific requirements.
- Sales Support: Work closely with the sales team to develop tailored strategies for client engagements, presenting the technical and business benefits of Zoho’s solutions.
- Customer Success: Provide technical guidance and ensure successful adoption of solutions during the sales cycle.
- Product Expertise: Stay updated on product developments and industry trends to provide clients with the latest information.
- Stakeholder Communication: Communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
- Client Feedback: Gather feedback from clients and collaborate with Product Managers to help shape Zoho’s product roadmap.
Key Requirements
- A degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
- Prior experience in pre-sales, technical consulting, or business intelligence (BI) is a plus.
- Proficiency in SQL, APIs, and scripting languages like Python or R.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and large-scale deployments.
Role 2: Technical Support Engineer
As a Technical Support Engineer, you will help customers get the most out of Zoho’s Analytics Plus product by providing top-tier support and guidance.
Support Responsibilities
- Handle technical support queries through calls, chats, emails, and remote sessions.
- Communicate effectively with customers across different time zones.
- Troubleshoot issues related to IT helpdesk and technical support.
- Stay updated on the latest technologies and tools to resolve customer queries effectively.
Customer Success Responsibilities
- Serve as a technical account manager and a single point of contact (SPOC) for customers.
- Understand customer business requirements and ensure the product is used to its full potential.
- Perform health checks to retain customers and identify upsell opportunities.
- Provide training sessions and collect feedback to improve the customer experience.
Skills and Qualifications for Both Roles
